How to Print Flipkart Labels on Thermal Printers (TSC, TVS, Xprinter, Zebra)

Updated September 2026 • 6 min read • By E-Commerce Dispatch Team

Quick Summary:

Printing Flipkart labels on direct thermal printers saves sellers up to ₹15,000 yearly in laser toner and packaging tape. Here is how to crop the label properly and configure your printer settings so courier delivery agents can scan barcodes without failure.

Why You Cannot Print Flipkart PDFs Directly

When you download orders from Flipkart Seller Hub, Flipkart provides an A4 sheet containing both the Shipping Courier Label (at the top) and the Tax Invoice (at the bottom), separated by a dotted cut line.

If you send this A4 file directly to a 4x6 thermal printer without cropping:

  • The printer squashes the entire A4 page into a tiny 4x6 sticker.
  • The barcode becomes micro-sized and distorted, causing Ekart, Delhivery, and Shadowfax scanners to reject the parcel.
  • The tax invoice wastes label roll stickers unnecessarily.

Step 1: Crop the Shipping Label Using QuickCrop

Instead of manually cropping page-by-page in Adobe Acrobat or Photoshop, use QuickCrop:

  1. Open QuickCrop Flipkart Cropper in your browser.
  2. Drag and drop your Flipkart bulk order PDF.
  3. Select 4x6 Inch Thermal Label format.
  4. Click Download Cropped PDF (or click Direct Print).

QuickCrop uses native vector embedding, meaning the barcode paths are mathematically preserved with 100% laser sharpness.

Step 2: Windows Thermal Printer Driver Configuration

Before hitting print, ensure your Windows printer driver is configured for 4x6 inch paper:

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Click your printer (e.g. TSC TE244, TVS LP 46, Xprinter XP-420B) and choose Printing Preferences.
  3. Under Page Setup, set Stock/Paper Size to:
    Width: 4.00 in (101.6 mm) | Height: 6.00 in (152.4 mm)
  4. Set Print Margins to 0 mm (None).
  5. Under the Graphics / Darkness tab, select Darkness: 10 - 12 (so barcode lines print solid black without fading).

Step 3: The Golden Print Rule: "Actual Size (100%)"

When the browser or Adobe Acrobat print dialog opens:

  • Scale: Select Actual Size or 100%.
  • Never select "Fit to Printable Area": This resizes the barcode and will cause barcode scanner read errors!
  • Orientation: Portrait.
